BACKGROUND
Blue River Industries currently has Southern Indiana locations in Salem and Corydon where we provide assembly, packaging, fabrication, and other custom manufacturing services to a wide variety of local and national customers. We are proud to provide an integrated work setting where people with and without disabilities work alongside each other to produce quality products for our customers.
The stated goals of Blue River Industries are as follows:
Provide products that meet or exceed customer needs for quality, on-time delivery, and cost.
Encourage a quality culture within Blue River Industries that empowers employees to meet or exceed internal and external expectations.
Provide products and services within the framework of regulations and rules, both internal (Blue River Industries quality system and policies) and external (customer, governmental, and certification agencies), to provide the best learning and work opportunities for those we serve.
Identify and realize industry best practices and incorporate them into our quality management system as a means of continual improvement.
Maintain a variety of jobs for all levels of disabled workers' skills.
Integrate workshop with workers without disabilities.
Maintain ISO 9001 certification.
